Position Overview

As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will work closely with Partner Teams and fellow Advisors, addressing unique client challenges directly. Your expertise will be pivotal in areas such as investment strategies, retirement planning, education savings, and tax and estate planning. You will lead client meetings, guiding them through financial action plans and annual reviews, ensuring every interaction emphasizes the value of The Ladders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Partner teams and serve as the subject matter expert on all aspects of Family CFO services.
  • Keep Partners informed on team dynamics and client matters.
  • Lead client meetings, including initial interviews, confidential fact-finding, financial action plans, implementation meetings, and reviews.
  • Prepare and/or review financial action plans and projections developed by team members.
  • Facilitate comprehensive services for clients, including investment management, retirement planning, education planning, tax and accounting services, insurance planning, banking and cash management, business planning, estate planning, and philanthropic strategies.
  • Develop and nurture new business through prospecting and referrals.
  • Engage in testing new technologies for the firm and apply advanced testing skills utilizing financial planning expertise.
  • Contribute to strategic planning discussions and execute the firm’s vision.
  • Assist in enhancing training and delivering clear reporting to clients.
  • Provide systems knowledge and efficiency training within the learning management platform.
  • Collaborate with Partners to pursue marketing and business development opportunities.
  • Participate in mentorship programs and provide coaching, mentoring, and training to team members.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring of team members.
  • Champion the team’s vision and lead by example.
  • Travel as necessary to meet with clients.
  • Commit to ongoing education to maintain expertise in Family CFO matters.
Qualifications
  • Series 65 required, or attainment of the license within 60 days of employment.
  • B.S. in Business or Finance required; MBA or J.D. preferred.
  • CFP, CPA, or CFA designation required.
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience in providing holistic financial planning advice.
  • Experience in wealth management or registered investment advisory preferred.
