Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Emcor Inc. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of mechanical construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scopes and site surveys to ensure accurate project execution
  • Perform engineering calculations and provide technical assistance throughout the construction phase
  • Oversee and maintain an effective Quality Control system to ensure project quality and safety
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure complete scope of work is defined
  • Manage project estimating, scheduling, and RFI's to ensure timely project completion
  • Prepare submittal packages and manage the flow of contractor-provided submittal data
  • Manage monthly productivity analysis and initiate correspondence between the office and job site regarding shop deliveries
  • Assist in data population of forms, technical analysis, and troubleshooting of HVAC air equipment, HVAC & Process Piping, Equipment Systems, and HVAC & Plumbing equipment
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with project managers
  • Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, or a minimum of 2-3 years of work-related experience in the Mechanical Industry
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines
  • Experience performing construction and engineering calculations
  • Knowledge of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing, and engineering principals and techniques, of all general contract and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications
