12-hour and 24-hour shifts, Full-time, Monday - Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with team members during transport.
  • Conduct assessments and stabilize patients, performing necessary diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
  • Ensure adherence to therapeutic standards and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Engage in decision-making processes with the multidisciplinary team to improve operational efficiency.
  • Complete all required medical documentation accurately.
  • May be required to operate an ambulance for patient and supply transport.

Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 12 months of hire.
  • The S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Driver's License prior to hire.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing prior to hire.

Additionally, one or more of the following is required:
  • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Transport within 24 months of hire.
  • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Pediatric Transport within 24 months of hire.
  • Certification in Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT).
  • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Flight within 24 months of hire.
  • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care within 24 months of hire.

Education:
Diploma from an accredited nursing school required.

Experience:
  • Minimum of three years as a registered nurse in Level III/IV PICU, NICU, or a dedicated pediatric emergency department.

Preferred:
  • Five years of experience in Level III/IV PICU, NICU, or a dedicated pediatric emergency department.
