_Lead Pharmacy Specialist_ to enhance our "community pharmacy" operations. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding a team of dedicated professionals focused on delivering exceptional care and wellness solutions for pet owners and their beloved pets. As a key leader within the pharmacy division, you will collaborate closely with the broader Chewy eCommerce fulfillment network. Your effectiveness will stem from your capability to inspire and cultivate a culture centered on continuous enhancement, quality service, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a vital link between pharmacy management and staff pharmacists, fostering an atmosphere of transparent and consistent communication across all shifts and locations.
+ Engage in weekly leadership meetings to address various pharmacy-related topics, including workflow assessments, regulatory adherence, ongoing quality improvements, and system upgrades.
+ Support pharmacy management in the development, oversight, and mentorship of staff pharmacists to build a cohesive and successful team. Provide ongoing training and guidance as necessary.
+ Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to establish and uphold clear, measurable expectations for the pharmacist team.
+ Actively involve the pharmacist team by soliciting feedback following process modifications. Conduct small focus group discussions as required and relay insights to management.
+ Evaluate team performance to enhance workflow and productivity, offering consistent feedback to leadership.
+ Identify areas for training improvement and partner with pharmacy management to create ongoing development plans for pharmacists.
+ Maintain regular communication with management regarding team performance.
+ Collaborate across departments.
+ Adjust and coordinate weekly schedules for your team based on current business requirements.
+ Ensure adherence to operational standards, including performance metrics, safety protocols, and compliance regulations.
+ Execute all responsibilities of a staff pharmacist.
Qualifications:
+ Valid pharmacist license in Kentucky.
+ Willingness to obtain any additional required licenses.
+ Strong commitment to customer service and meticulous attention to detail.
+ Proven ability to lead a team in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
+ Flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
