The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is recognized as one of the most forward-thinking divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, our main priority is our customers and assisting them in their mission to build a better world. We engage with nearly every aspect of the services value stream, from procurement and design to manufacturing and distribution. PSLD oversees Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement, and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters).

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring that inventory availability for designated customers is met within the specified time frame.

Additional Information
  • This position does not offer relocation assistance.
  • Travel expectations are approximately 10%, primarily domestic.
Key Responsibilities
  • Guaranteeing that inventory availability for assigned customers is fulfilled within the designated time frame.
  • Acting as the primary contact for customers.
  • Collaborating with customers to address issues and ensure performance standards are met.
  • Responding to schedule releases and following up on timely shipments.
  • Ensuring prompt delivery and availability of parts to meet customer needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Attention to Detail: Recognizing the importance of precision and completing tasks with high accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Understanding collaborative techniques and effectively working with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Familiarity with tools and techniques for identifying and resolving operational or process-related issues.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Knowledge of processes to effectively manage business relationships with customers regarding product components.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Management in Manufacturing: Understanding of manufacturing processes to manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • An associate degree or equivalent experience.
