Job Purpose

The Analyst, Supply will oversee supply performance for items procured from overseas and domestic suppliers to meet department purchase, fill rate, back order line, PO aging, and inventory (MOS) objectives. Planning and control of these parts require timely and accurate forecast preparation, ordering, and expediting

  • Train and support Analysts, Parts Supply to help meet department objectives. (15%)
  • Miscellaneous maintenance of part master and purchase order data. (10%)

  • Monitor dealer backorders continuously and communicate/expedite with suppliers on delivery to achieve the highest customer service and fill rate.
  • Maintain purchase order files to ensure accuracy; reconcile with suppliers regularly.
  • Analyze, review and place initial orders for new model vehicles. Maintain pipeline for sufficient supply during first 12-18 months of vehicle production. Ensure 98% fill rates to support OEMs objectives.
  • Review and recommend changes to the Part Master to ensure that correct supply levels, supersession codes, and parts control codes are maintained and accurate.
  • Take an active role in identifying and recommending modifications to the Parts System to aid in inventory planning and to improve customer service. Participate in designing, testing, and implementing short- and long-term computer system enhancements.
