Job Summary:

As a Store Manager at Michaels, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business results. Your primary focus will be on managerial work, including:

  • Team Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to motivate and engage your team, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Customer Experience: Foster a culture of customer-centricity, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Business Results: Analyze sales data and develop plans to drive business growth, while maintaining profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement store strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Lead and manage a team of retail professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve customer experiences.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
