Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Support the Store Manager in leading and supervising store associates, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Brand Awareness and Advocacy: Drive brand awareness and advocacy to exceed projected store goals, collaborating with local partners to raise awareness across the region.
- Associate Development: Recruit, hire, and develop store associates, providing training and guidance to ensure their success.
- Customer Experience: Provide a premium customer experience, building relationships with consumers and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Visual Merchandising and Brand Presentation: Support the Store Manager in maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation.
- Financial Management: Ensure financial objectives and controls are consistently and correctly managed.
- Store Operations: In the absence of the Store Manager, provide leadership to ensure the store operates to Tempur-Pedic standards.
- Culture and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and open environment across all areas of the company.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of retail management experience with high-end luxury and/or custom products.
- Sales and Leadership Skills: Strong sales skills in a consultative environment, with the ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
- Technical Skills: Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards, with fluency in current retail software and computer systems.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to lead and follow, with flexibility in work schedule to reflect the needs and patterns of store hours.
