Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team at Jobot. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the smooth operation of insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and updating renewal lists, and dispatching renewal correspondence as needed.
- Engaging with both insurance carriers and clients in a professional and timely manner.
- Reviewing policies, endorsements, audits, and other relevant documents for accuracy.
- Utilizing carrier rating platforms to assist in policy management.
- Organizing and prioritizing daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Processing binders, certificates of insurance, and all necessary policy updates.
- Assisting the assigned Producer with various tasks and sharing insights with team members.
- Completing Certificates of Insurance and processing change requests.
- Requesting Loss Run information from clients and/or carriers.
- Managing endorsements and submitting claims to insurers.
- Building and nurturing business relationships with clients.
- Gathering necessary information from clients to facilitate the marketing of new and renewal policies.
- Participating in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Strong typing skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and grammatical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Agency Management Systems, with a preference for EPIC.
- Current California Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the insurance sector.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
