Key Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers in delivering exceptional service to current clients, developing accounts, and managing claims.
- Prepare Acord applications, submissions, and proposals.
- Engage in marketing efforts, including pre-qualifying new business opportunities.
- Bind renewals and new business as necessary.
- Conduct quality control and review applications, endorsements, and policies for precision.
- Maintain and update records in the Agency Management System.
- Evaluate insurance requirements for client contracts.
- Identify and rectify certificate deficiencies.
Qualifications
- California P&C license is mandatory.
- 2-4 years of experience in commercial lines with a solid grasp of insurance terminology, broker functions, and various commercial insurance types.
- Experience with Applied EPIC is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building capabilities with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Self-motivated individual who excels in independent work.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, follow through, and maintain consistent communication.
- Open to learning, resourceful, and adaptable to coaching.
