The Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions to meet strategic, tactical, and operational objectives. This position serves as a champion for equitable and consistent application of company policies and programs, while also collaborating with Labor Relations to build strong relationships with leadership. The ideal candidate will possess experience in negotiating union contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide objective guidance to management and assist with on-site investigations as the HR expert. Ensure documentation is managed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop partnerships across the HR spectrum to enhance collaboration, productivity, and provide a supportive environment for both management and associates.
  • Actively participate in management meetings to increase HR visibility, deliver training, and offer guidance on HR-related matters aligned with business objectives.
  • Generate and implement solutions with input from Field HR Consultants and/or HR Service Centers.
  • Address employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, directing complex issues to the appropriate departments.
  • Advocate for Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, focusing on recruitment, retention, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance workplace relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention rates.
  • Promote learning and development initiatives that provide internal growth opportunities in partnership with the Talent Development team.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, international hiring, retention strategies, and recognition programs for associates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in union contract negotiations is essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative with a proactive approach.
  • Exhibit integrity, professionalism, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with all organizational levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 3 to 5 years in HR roles.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, organize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • HR professional certification is preferred.
  • Ability to navigate all workplace locations.
