Internship Opportunities in Electromagnetic Spectrum Technologies

Pacific Defense is a leading provider of military-use electromagnetic spectrum technologies and solutions. Our approach is designed to support the DoD's disciplined movement to modular open standards and to mirror the way military services address EMS warfare – holistic mission planning and execution.
We take an organic, commercial-minded approach to developing military-use advanced solutions, delivering EW, SIGINT, Comms and C2 capabilities to the DoD. Our focus areas include autonomous systems, command and control, communications, cyber operations, intelligence collection, and electronic warfare.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an intern. As an intern, you will assist engineers with designing, prototyping, and testing new products or systems, conduct research and data analysis to support ongoing projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
You will participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting activities, document engineering processes and project progress, and support the development of technical reports and presentations. Additionally, you will adhere to safety and compliance regulations throughout all work processes and provide input on project improvements and efficiency strategies.
Requirements- US Citizen
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the engineering field, e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, etc.
- Strong interest in engineering and technology
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and design practices
- Proficiency in relevant software or tools, e.g., CAD software, MATLAB, Python, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
