Job Overview

The Manufacturing Process Specialist plays a crucial role in the production environment, focusing on the following responsibilities:

  • Supervisory Oversight: Managing the activities of the Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor to ensure smooth operations.
  • Efficiency Maintenance: Monitoring machine performance, utilization rates, and scrap levels in accordance with established benchmarks.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Identifying and reporting necessary maintenance or repairs for production and departmental machinery.
  • Process Optimization: Addressing process-related issues to reduce machine downtime and minimize scrap production.
  • Quality Improvement Support: Contributing to company-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing quality standards.
  • Process Analysis: Evaluating and developing strategies to refine operational processes.
  • Safety Recommendations: Proposing improvements to enhance safety protocols, workplace cleanliness, and machine efficiency.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  1. The Manufacturing Process Specialist must possess the ability to read and write in English.
  2. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional coursework in business is advantageous but not mandatory.
  3. Hands-on experience in mold setup and expertise in the Structural Foam Molding sector is essential.
  4. Familiarity with Robotics is preferred.
  5. Understanding of various material types is necessary.
Experience Requirements

A minimum of one to five years of experience in production-related roles and personnel supervision within the Plastics Industry is required.
