Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our dynamic team at MU Health Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition care to our patients. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments on patients to identify their nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.
  • Develop and implement nutrition-related policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay current with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition care to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Dietitian licensure from the Missouri Committee of Dietitians board.

Location and Shift

This position is located in Columbia, Missouri, and the shift is Monday – Friday, 8am – 5:00, with occasional evenings for group sessions.

Department and Salary Range

This position is part of the Weight Management & Metabolic Center department, and the salary range is $52,666 to $83,179.
