Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Role Summary:

The Clinical Dietitian PRN is responsible for delivering high-quality nutrition care in accordance with established policies. This includes conducting nutrition screenings, assessments, and developing personalized care plans for patients at nutritional risk.

Essential Duties:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding service to patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and respect.
  • Ethical Standards: Adhere to all relevant laws and compliance policies, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all interactions.
  • Age-Appropriate Care: Demonstrate the ability to assess and cater to the nutritional needs of patients across all age groups.
  • Analytical Skills: Gather and analyze patient data to inform care decisions and solutions.
  • Dependability: Exhibit enthusiasm and a proactive approach in all tasks.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly convey information to patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications:

  • Must obtain a Licensed Dietician credential within 90 days of employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Commission Dietetic Registration or ADA Registered Dietitian credential must be secured within 90 days of employment.
