Key Responsibilities and QualificationsRole Summary:
The Clinical Dietitian PRN will perform essential nutrition care functions in accordance with hospital policies, including nutrition assessments, care plan development, and ongoing patient monitoring.
Core Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to patients and families, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Respect and Dignity: Treat all individuals with respect, maintaining patient confidentiality and addressing inquiries within your scope of practice.
- Ethics and Compliance: Uphold compliance with relevant laws and hospital policies, reporting any suspected violations.
- Age-Related Competencies: Provide nutrition care across all age groups, demonstrating the ability to assess and respond to age-specific needs.
- Analytical Skills: Gather and analyze information to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
- Dependability: Exhibit enthusiasm and commitment to your role, demonstrating a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Effectively convey information to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Education and Credentials:
- Licensure as a Dietitian is required within 90 days of employment.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Commission Dietetic Registration or ADA Registered Dietitian certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
