  • 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday, 2pm- finish
  • 3rd Shift Schedule: Sunday, 9pm-finish. Monday-Friday, 12am-finish
  • Compensation: $60,000+ based on experience, with potential for a 10% bonus.
Position Overview:
The Night Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the overall safety, productivity, and efficiency of designated warehouse operations during the assigned shift. This role involves supervising and guiding employees while monitoring operational workflows to ensure optimal utilization of personnel and equipment on a nightly basis. The Night Warehouse Supervisor ensures adherence to company standards and policies across all operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive direction from the Warehouse Manager regarding operational matters and communicate effectively with team members on a daily basis to share information and motivate the team.
  • Address employee concerns fairly and effectively, ensuring consistent practices are upheld.
  • Build a cohesive team through coaching and mentoring of supervisors and leads, fostering a culture of engagement and growth.
  • Provide guidance, discipline, coaching, and motivation as necessary to maintain high morale and encourage teamwork, pride, and quality performance.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team leads to manage personnel assignments in line with distribution needs, ensuring timely departures for customer deliveries.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and annual evaluations, working with the team to maintain consistent practices.
  • Ensure that orders, reports, totes, and other supplies are prepared at all stations for the start of each shift, monitoring supplies throughout the evening and directing replenishment efforts as needed to avoid work stoppages.
  • Verify that all equipment is functioning properly, contacting appropriate personnel for prompt repairs when necessary. Communicate any truck issues with the Director of Operations and Transportation Manager as applicable.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by processing all accidents promptly and entering all work incidents and near misses into the database.
  • Review operational workflows throughout the shift, communicating with area leads to assess progress and ensure completion of all assigned tasks by the end of the shift.
  • Work with the Shift Manager to address any issues that arise, such as order shortages or delivery challenges.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2 or 4-year degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience supervising multiple employees.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations related to distribution.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including warehouse database systems, email, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative spirit.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills to effectively disseminate information and lead the team.
  • Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues.
  • Willingness to adhere to established safety protocols and lifting guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Will involve processing paperwork in an office setting, with the need to walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Continuous walking, standing, bending, lifting, and climbing may be required on occasion.
  • Work is conducted in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise and vibrations from materials handling equipment.
