Position Overview

As a full-time, versatile Patient Services Coordinator within our network of clinics, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient experiences and customer service. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Processing prior authorizations and scheduling patient appointments.
  • Conducting on-demand eligibility checks and verifying appointment details.
  • Registering new patients and assisting them in completing necessary forms and consents.
  • Obtaining and confirming current insurance or financial information.
  • Requesting and documenting all co-payments, co-insurance, self-pay, product sales, and previous balances.
  • Updating patient demographic information in the practice management system.
  • Scheduling and rescheduling follow-up appointments in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Performing various administrative tasks as needed.

Note: Availability for late evening shifts is a plus.

Ideal Candidate: You are a well-rounded professional with a strong background in customer service and administrative roles. Your qualifications include:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office or healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with third-party payer systems such as Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and medical office management software.
  • A keen ability to accurately document and relay detailed information.
