Job Overview

Our esteemed optometric practice is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator who is friendly, driven, and organized to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities. While prior experience in an optical setting is advantageous, it is not mandatory as we provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Perform accurate and timely preliminary assessments of patients.
  • Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Handle incoming calls with efficiency.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations, including follow-up visits.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
  • Collect co-payments as required.
  • Oversee billing and accounting tasks.
  • Receive training on our computer systems prior to starting.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
  • Proficient in using computer systems.
Education:
  • High School diploma is required.
