The Alaska Club is actively seeking Lifeguards. No prior experience is necessary. We are a comprehensive network of fitness centers providing top-notch facilities for all fitness-related activities.

The Lifeguard position is an engaging and varied role that offers a supportive team atmosphere and adaptable work hours. Our Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining safety in the swimming area and on the poolside by offering guidance and assistance in diverse situations. Enhance your leadership abilities while imparting essential life-saving skills to the community.

This role is an excellent fit for students or parents looking for part-time employment. There may also be opportunities for additional hours as a Swim Instructor.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Ability to swim freestyle/crawl stroke

Work Environment:

  • Monitoring patrons in the pool during open swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and water aerobics
  • Supporting fellow Lifeguards and collaborating as a team
  • Standing and moving on the deck and in the pool
