Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Beach Attendant. As a Beach Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of spectators, participants, and staff involved in aquatic activities. You will also provide staff support for office and perform clean-up of pool and locker room areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide routine clean-up, sanitizing, and general maintenance in pool and locker room areas.
Present aquatic instructional programs to a wide variety of community members, using a prepared lesson plan.
Operate a register with a point of sale, checking in patrons, selling passes, creating accounts, and keeping a tally sheet of users in the building.
Maintain certification in Standard First Aid, Lifeguarding/Water Park Training, and CPR-PR as recognized by the American Red Cross (or equivalent).
Obtain Water Safety Instructor Certification within 180 days of hire and maintain afterwards.
Work nights and weekends as needed.
Operate a point-of-sale computer system.
Pass a swimming proficiency test.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and fingerprinting.
