Job Summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson Inc. seeks a highly skilled Regional Safety Representative to support the implementation and communication of occupational health and safety programs directly in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver hands-on training sessions for employees
  • Conduct field evaluations and inspections of employee tasks and work environments
  • Review and implement safety programs to identify and mitigate risks
  • Promote safety incentive programs and driver safety through active engagement with field staff and supervision

Flexibility to work out of any of our Texas office locations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with data entry and recordkeeping for client pre-qualification tools such as Avetta and ISNetworld
  • Investigate and document incidents, reporting incidents to medical management team and insurance carriers
  • Track and Trend incident and accident statistics and suggest mitigation strategies
  • Provide historical data for individual clients as needed for prequalification of contract and subcontract work

Assist in the creation of client-specific or project-specific safety plans as required.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed within a general office environment 25% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required 75% of the time where work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Occasional lifting of (up to 25 lbs.) may be required. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and navigate uneven surfaces. Travel by airplane is necessary, so the ability to access an airport is required.
