Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Program Coordinator to join our team at Southland Industries. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all tasks and functions on project sites are performed safely in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist the Safety Manager in conducting site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Develop and present safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into all aspects of the business.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a related field, such as occupational health and safety or construction management.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
