Summary

We are in search of a driven and knowledgeable Wine Sales Consultant to enhance our presence in the Southern California region, specifically within the LA metro area.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of wines and the Southern California wine landscape.

In this position, you will focus on expanding our clientele while nurturing existing partnerships, promoting our diverse range of wines, and meeting established sales objectives.

Responsibilities
• Develop and sustain relationships with key clients in the designated territory.
• Market and sell the company's diverse wine offerings to retailers, dining establishments, and other commercial entities.
• Meet and exceed sales goals, utilizing current and historical data for informed decision-making and future planning.
• Provide wine education and tailored product recommendations to clients.
• Organize and conduct wine tastings and promotional events.
• Report sales performance and customer insights to the sales director.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience in wine sales.
• Comprehensive knowledge of both European and domestic wines.
• Familiarity with the Southern California wine market; established trade connections are advantageous.
• Strong sales acumen and emotional intelligence, with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Capable of forging new relationships while maintaining current ones.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver's license.
Compensation And Benefits
• Annual base salary ranging from $65,000 to $75,000, with opportunities for commission and bonuses.

Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401K plan with company matching, and various supplemental benefits.
