Role SummaryThe Laboratory Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and operational efficiency of various laboratory facilities. This role requires a strong background in analytical chemistry and laboratory management.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise laboratory operations across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
- Lead a team of laboratory professionals, providing guidance and support in daily operations and project execution.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes and analytical methods.
- Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff on best practices and quality assurance protocols.
- Manage laboratory audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement of laboratory supplies.
- Facilitate routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and coordinate with third-party service providers.
- Support analytical method development and provide expertise in challenging analytical applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant laboratory experience, with a focus on analytical methods.
- Proven leadership experience in managing laboratory teams and operations.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with laboratory software.
