As the Director of Fixed Operations and Service Excellence, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire service operation, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Hire, train, develop, and motivate a high-performing team of service advisors, technicians, and drive managers to achieve departmental goals.
- Business Development: Forecast and meet departmental goals, develop and monitor budgets, and ensure the service department meets all customer satisfaction and financial targets.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure proper repair techniques are used, schedule training as necessary, and stay up-to-date on product changes and new products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service department operations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of dealership operations experience, preferably as a Service Manager or Fixed Operations Director. Service Advisor experience is a plus.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others, excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and DMS.
- Personal Qualities: Competitive and self-motivated attitude, eagerness to improve, professional appearance, demeanor, and work ethic.
