Position Summary:

As a CVD Equipment Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing equipment for the production of advanced electrochemical cells. Your responsibilities will include setting operational standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and improving manufacturing processes for greater efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement machine operation protocols in accordance with industry standards.
  • Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting for CVD furnaces and associated equipment.
  • Monitor process control trends to identify and resolve issues, ensuring effective corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance equipment design and performance.
  • Improve production recipes to increase yield and throughput while minimizing downtime.
  • Manage equipment performance, track downtime, and handle spare parts procurement.
  • Provide technical support for automation and robotic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance schedules and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-10 years of experience in equipment and process engineering, ideally with CVD furnaces in relevant industries.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with advanced manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in standard software tools.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to environmental health and safety practices.
