Customer Engagement Specialist

The position of the Customer Engagement Specialist at Robert Reiser & Co, Inc. involves acting as a key partner in nurturing customer relationships, delivering equipment and product solutions tailored to diverse customer requirements. This role serves as a vital link between our clients and various internal departments, including Sales, Service, Engineering, and Development.
In this role, you will enhance the Customer Experience by being a knowledgeable resource for customers who visit our facility, ensuring their needs are met throughout the business relationship. You will be instrumental in establishing and promoting the customer center's mission by showcasing equipment that aligns with customer expectations and requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Represent Robert Reiser & Co, Inc. professionally through appearance, knowledge, and demeanor.
- Demonstrate the complete range and advanced functionalities of our equipment.
- Educate customers on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and capabilities.
- Act as a product and culinary resource for feedback and ongoing improvement.
- Operate within a food manufacturing environment, adhering to appropriate protocols.
- Create daily reports that include photos, videos, and equipment settings.
- Provide comprehensive documentation for clients to replicate demonstration success.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with sales personnel and customers.
- Assist with seminars, conferences, and events to enhance customer knowledge.
- Engage in continuous education to maintain skills through classes, travel, and seminars.
- Maintain a high level of customer interaction to support current and future equipment sales.
- Serve as a technical and culinary resource for the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in food science or a technical field, or equivalent work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong proficiency with technical data, including software, manuals, and applications.
- Excellent customer-facing skills.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Experience in the meat, sausage, and bakery industries is preferred.
- Experience interfacing with customers in an R&D or plant-type setting.
- Experience with food-related equipment setup and demonstration.
