Position Overview

The role of the Telephone Representative is crucial in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support. At Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company, we pride ourselves on being ambassadors of our brand, committed to delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a variety of customer service inquiries and challenges via telephone, assisting policyholders and agents with their needs.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and troubleshooting of customer issues, taking appropriate actions to resolve requests efficiently.
  • Handle written communications, including follow-ups to telephone inquiries, email responses, and written requests, ensuring all customer interactions are documented and addressed.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions, providing mentorship and support to newer representatives.
  • Engage in additional duties and projects as required to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications

Education: An Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a customer service role is essential.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills, enabling the development of strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with insurance products is advantageous.
