Job Overview

Position: Automation Technician

We are seeking an Automation Technician to become an integral part of our dynamic warehouse team. The primary responsibility of the Automation Technician is to offer technical assistance to sales personnel and execute value-added assembly projects efficiently. This role involves fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure the highest service standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Engage in design and project initiation meetings.
  • Estimate labor time required for assembly operations.
  • Utilize design documentation to construct and test according to project specifications.
  • Travel to project sites as necessary to support installations.
  • Document and communicate project details and completion status to clients and sales teams.
  • Contribute to the assembly and delivery of pneumatic systems and 80/20 projects.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in AutoCAD software.
  • Ability to utilize basic measuring instruments.
  • Strong computer skills are highly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation.

Education and Experience

  • A relevant associate degree or 3-5 years of experience in technical, electrical, pneumatic, or control systems.
