POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Lead Technical Service Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing project site coordination and delivering services for IT Cooling systems. This includes installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. Your advanced expertise will not only guide your own work but also direct others in achieving service excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate project site planning and execution of services at customer locations.
  • Lead and manage contractors and designated personnel throughout all phases of service projects to ensure timely completion.
  • Offer technical support to both internal and external clients, including third-party service organizations.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to fellow technicians and authorized service providers for effective troubleshooting and repair of complex IT Cooling systems.
  • Independently troubleshoot and finalize complex system installations.
  • Schedule and manage technical sales or service support, including urgent service calls.
  • Assist in resolving service conflicts and planning issues related to new IT Cooling products.
  • Deliver emergency technical support and field services on an on-call basis.
  • Maintain comprehensive service records and documentation of all services rendered.
  • Inspect and evaluate returned products and systems to identify defects or operational status.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional representatives to address equipment and service-related challenges.
  • Submit precise expense reports for reimbursement in accordance with company policies.
  • Recommend service product offerings to ensure the long-term maintenance of capital investments.
  • Enhance the Division's goals and reputation by conducting business in a timely and cooperative manner with other departments, customers, and suppliers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree in HVAC, Electrical Electronics, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, including 3-5 years of experience with Mitsubishi Electric technology, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT Cooling products and services, with specialized expertise in Mitsubishi Electric technology.
  • Possession of EPA Section 608 certification.
  • Proficient in using mechanical and electronic testing equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with customers, employees, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to guide others on-site and during emergencies.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP business systems.
