Our Global Instrumentation & Control (I&C) division is looking for a Production Engineering Specialist for our manufacturing facility.
In this role, a Production Engineering Specialist will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Formulate and enhance assembly sequences for a range of Safety and Non-Safety Nuclear I&C systems.
- Collaborate effectively with I&C hardware design teams to address design challenges on the production floor.
- Examine nonconformances and provide guidance to technicians for rework and repair.
- Engage in weekly production meetings alongside planning, project engineering, and project management teams.
- Work in partnership with project teams, shop technicians, quality control, quality assurance, supply chain, and planning to resolve issues and promote safety.
- Assist Production Planning and shop technicians in the creation of production order operations.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to prioritize inspections of procured and manufactured items.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical field is preferred, or alternatively, 60 credits in an engineering or technical discipline combined with two years of experience in quality control or equivalent experience in Quality Control.
A solid understanding of the commercial nuclear industry or other regulated sectors is essential.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products are required.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are necessary.
