Role Summary

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) plays a crucial role in ensuring client success. This position requires excellent communication skills, a solid technical foundation, and a strong aptitude for problem-solving.

In essence, this role demands a blend of tactical execution and strategic insight to guide cross-functional teams through various project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering, project planning, implementation, and deployment support for global clients and partners.
  • Actively collaborate with commercial and technical stakeholders, providing education on Pointr's solutions and deployment processes to ensure their success.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and deployment managers to integrate Pointr's technology suite with client applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software issues alongside Pointr's delivery teams to guarantee solution quality and sustainability.
  • Facilitate client status meetings to oversee the scope and schedule of multiple concurrent deployments.
  • Master Pointr's product suite to enhance understanding of client technology utilization and contribute to our product roadmap.
  • Promote inclusivity and contribute to a culture that encourages authenticity.


Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management or technical consultancy within a hardware or software organization.
  • Self-motivated with practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies and a keen interest in indoor location technology.
  • A proven track record of high performance in a fast-paced, analytical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of solving problems and building relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset.
  • Fluent and idiomatic English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technology or management discipline (Computer Science is advantageous).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Google Suite, MS Office, and MS Project.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are preferred.
