Position Summary

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, robust technical expertise, and a talent for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee requirements gathering, project planning, implementation, and deployment support for our global clientele.
  • Engage proactively with commercial and technical stakeholders, providing education on Pointr's solutions and deployment processes while being a vital partner in their success.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and deployment managers to ensure seamless integration of Pointr's technology with client applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software issues alongside Pointr's delivery teams to guarantee solution quality and longevity.
  • Conduct client status meetings to manage the scope and timeline of multiple concurrent deployments.
  • Master Pointr's product suite to better assist clients in utilizing our technology and contribute to our product roadmap.
  • Foster an inclusive culture that encourages authenticity and self-expression.


Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management or technical consulting within a hardware or software organization.
  • Self-motivated with practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies and a keen interest in indoor location technology.
  • A proven track record of high performance in a fast-paced, analytical environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of resolving issues and building relationships with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset.
  • Fluent and idiomatic communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in a relevant technology or management discipline (Computer Science is advantageous).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Google Suite, MS Office, and MS Project.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are preferred.
