We are seeking a highly skilled HR Onboarding Specialist to join our team at Butterball, LLC. As a key member of our Human Resources Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new hires and transfers.
Key Responsibilities- Onboarding Support: Provide timely and thorough support to new hires during the orientation period and on-the-job training process.
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data on new hire onboarding experiences to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Training and Development: Work with leaders to implement effective onboarding and training approaches to maximize transfer of knowledge and skills during the onboarding process.
- Employee Engagement: Follow up with employees and leaders to proactively identify concerns and implement solutions to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Documentation: Implement electronic/paper-based training documentation of new hire training progress.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track individual and overall onboarding metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely and proactively with HR business partners to identify relationships between onboarding experiences, turnover, absenteeism, accident/injury rates, and performance.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential employee information.
- Language Skills: Translate written and verbal communications in both English and Spanish.
- Bilingual: Required
- Collaboration and Influence: Ability to work collaboratively, build strong partnerships, and influence leaders and frontline employees.
- On-the-Job Training: Familiarity with on-the-job training processes, a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Excel and Word; Microsoft Access a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and report in a clear and concise manner.
- Independence: Ability to work independently for day-to-day tasks to ensure onboarding goals and priorities are met.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Project Management: Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, tasks, and priorities.
Provides general support to the HR team.
