The Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in managing human resources functions and supporting the operational needs of our team. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at fostering a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate strong employee relations through effective management of employee inquiries and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are well-informed about company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including documentation related to benefits and attendance.
  • Address employment-related questions from staff and management, escalating complex issues as necessary.
  • Develop and implement an employee engagement strategy that promotes our cooperative culture.
  • Assist in managing leave requests, compliance reporting, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations, regularly reviewing policies for compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in human resources and employment law.
  • Conduct interviews and collaborate with department leaders to identify the skills needed for open positions.
  • Utilize the UltiPro Time Labor Management Attendance System effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in human resources.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours as required by business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with strong database management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
