JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the administrative coordination and support of the Human Resources (HR) department and assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of Corporate Human Resources policies, programs, and procedure.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain all personnel files, ensuring the accuracy of active/terminated files and contents.
  • Assist and work closely with the Talent Acquisition team with scheduling interviews, following up with pre-employment, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Participates in job fairs, including reviewing applications, conducting interviews, matching applicants with specific job-related requirements and forwarding candidates to appropriate manager.
  • Coordinates and conducts new hire and benefits orientations. Assists in organizational training and development efforts including facilitating and/or training (including onboarding) of the workforce.
  • Assist in projects such as HR (human resources) events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications, and company-wide meetings.
  • Assists in the weekly payroll processes by managing and following up on tickets for union dues, pension, and benefits deductions, and missed and termination pay. Running payroll, and other HR related reports in the HRIS and e-time system.
  • Responsible for administrative duties to include copying, filing, posting notices, scanning, and faxing.
  • Assist and work closely with the Talent Acquisition team with scheduling interviews, following up with pre-employment, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Assists with employee engagement surveys, and exit interviews.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Administration or related field preferred.


Experience

  • 2+ years of Progressive HR responsibilities is preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledgeable with HRIS and Etime system
  • Knowledgeable with running HR and payroll reports.
