Sales and Sponsorship Manager

VenuWorks of Cedar Rapids is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Sponsorship Manager to join their team. This salaried management position is responsible for planning, selling, and administering sponsorship and signage programs to foster community partnerships at various venues.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or at least two years of related experience and/or training. They will be responsible for developing sponsorship opportunities through cold calls, presentations, and meetings with small and large business owners.
The Sales and Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for negotiating deals, customizing pitches for each client, and designing and developing sales materials and presentations. They will also be responsible for generating leads and developing a message with new clients.
Benefits, a 401K retirement plan, and insurance are offered. Salary will be based on work experience and education, with commissions available.
