Job Title: Director of Research and Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Research and Development to lead our Center for Child Health, Behavior, and Development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in research leadership, strategic planning, and program administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Research Team: Engage, motivate, and direct a team of researchers to achieve research goals and objectives.
  2. Develop Research Strategy: Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to develop a comprehensive research strategy that aligns with the Center's mission and goals.
  3. Build Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with clinical and community partners to develop innovative interventions and research projects.
  4. Secure Funding: Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support research initiatives and programs.
  5. Oversee Finance and Administration: Manage the Center's finances, including budgeting, grant management, and personnel administration.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess an MD or DO, combined MD/PhD, PhD, or equivalent degree in health-related fields, with a record commensurate with appointment as an Associate Professor or Professor at a leading research institution.
