PRIMARY ROLE - Oversees operations, staff relations, and customer engagement to guarantee the efficient daily management of airport parking facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads, manages, and coordinates the efforts of staff and contracted personnel to ensure optimal facility performance.
- Develops the annual operational budget and monitors facility expenditures to maintain compliance, taking corrective measures when necessary.
- Reviews and authorizes bi-monthly expense reports.
- Ensures adherence to established parking, security, cash management, and customer service protocols by all team members.
- Assesses employee performance, issues disciplinary actions, and addresses initial grievances.
- Acts as the main liaison with unions representing various employee classifications, if applicable.
- Conducts inspections of grounds, facilities, and equipment to guarantee safe working conditions and identifies maintenance needs, initiating corrective actions as required.
- Facilitates weekly discussions with clients to provide updates on financials, operations, and ongoing initiatives.
- Manages routine maintenance tasks and special projects aimed at enhancing facility operations.
- Supervises subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinates facility opening and closing procedures, determining staffing needs to maintain service levels.
- Engages with customers to address inquiries, investigate complaints, and resolve issues.
- Monitors daily cashier reports to ensure accurate sales reporting and maintain vigilance against potential theft or inefficiencies.
- Reviews damage claims to assign accountability and recommends strategies to enhance operational safety, preventing future incidents.

Qualifications
Education Requirement: A Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years in a management role, ideally within a large, dynamic parking environment. Experience in airport operations, customer service, and union relations is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
Equipment Utilized: Personal computers, surveillance cameras, telecommunication devices, two-way radios, printers, copiers, vehicles, and golf carts.
Licensing: A valid state-issued driver's license with an up-to-date address and acceptable driving record is necessary.
Additional Requirements: All employees must be able to obtain and maintain an airport-issued badge following FBI clearance.
Essential Skills: Must effectively interact with employees, management, clients, and vendors, assess situations, prioritize tasks, and respond to issues promptly. The role demands the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines. Strong attention to detail is crucial.

While executing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to travel (up to 50% of the time) between various facilities at the airport to address employee, equipment, and customer concerns promptly; however, most tasks will be conducted in an office environment from a seated position. Resolving equipment issues may involve bending, stretching, and some manual dexterity. The employee will be expected to frequently lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and may occasionally need to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
The employee must be able to communicate verbally to dispatch personnel as needed, provide instructions to direct reports and subcontractors, and resolve customer issues effectively.
The employee is required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (e.g., cold, rainy, snowy, hot, humid) and may be exposed to fumes and noise from vehicle traffic. During peak periods or holidays, the majority of time may be spent in the field directing traffic and coordinating off-site airport and valet operations.
