  • Analyze network traffic and security notifications to detect potential security breaches
  • Investigate and assess security occurrences to ascertain the root cause and scope of the issue
  • Formulate and execute incident response strategies and protocols to counteract security threats
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to escalate and resolve security challenges
  • Conduct thorough post-incident evaluations and analyses to derive insights and enhance incident response effectiveness
  • Maintain comprehensive records of incidents, responses, and remediation actions for compliance and auditing purposes
  • Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices

Essential Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity or incident response
  • Strong grasp of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies
  • Familiarity with security incident detection and response tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CISA are advantageous
  • Experience in threat hunting, digital forensics, and malware analysis is beneficial
