- Assist the store manager in overseeing and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company protocols to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, implement company policies and standards, and hold the team accountable for store conditions and performance.
- Ensure cash handling policies and procedures are followed, achieve Cash Handling targets, and manage the team to reach their position-related targets.
- Plan and oversee in-store events and activities according to the company program.
- Lead cross-functional processes.
- Manage and execute loss prevention and security initiatives.
- Assist with cash handling and bank transactions.
- Assist with inventory-related processes, including Returns to Suppliers and Advance Shipping Notice activities when needed.
- Assist in onboarding new team members.
Requirements:
- Management experience in a retail environment preferred.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to move around the store.
- Bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch frequently.
- Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
- Work in a public retail store environment to assist customers; all public areas are climate-controlled; some warehouses may not be climate-controlled; outdoor work may be assigned (collecting shopping baskets or during truck unloading); the workshop has machinery and equipment.
