Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our deli food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding prepared foods in terms of freshness, taste, quality, and presentation. You will also assist in all aspects of the deli food service to ensure that we meet the high standards expected by our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the deli food service team to deliver high-quality prepared foods.
- Assist in all aspects of the deli food service, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in strict accordance with safety, health, and sanitation guidelines, as well as relevant government regulations.
- Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that all food meets our high standards.
- Provide direct supervision to the kitchen team to ensure operational effectiveness and motivate them to deliver excellent results.
- Minimum of 5 years of previous cooking experience for the level of Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food service production.
- A food handlers permit must be obtained within the first 14 days of employment.
- Working knowledge of all equipment normally found in a commercially-run restaurant kitchen.

The estimated salary range for this position is $25-$35 per hour based on industry standards and location.
