Business Development Representative

This role serves as a center of excellence for post-sale programs, which include newsletter sponsorships, live and virtual events, and custom programs. As an Account Manager, you will act as a client advocate, working with internal departments to ensure that client expectations are exceeded.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Sales Team to accurately and effectively activate post-sales campaigns
- Maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships and driving renewal through successful campaign management
- Serving as the main point of contact (POC) in delivering on clients' objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), successfully coordinating end-to-end execution and optimization of client campaigns
- Leveraging your knowledge of the client, industry, and The Information to identify solutions to overcome client challenges and encourage renewals strategically
- Working across departments to foresee obstacles and proactively ensure the success of programs
- Leading all client communications for post-sale execution, including details on campaign timing, assets, and contracts
- Developing and presenting recommendations and points of view (POVs) that drive innovation for the business
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in media account management and white-glove client services
- Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven projects with cross-functional groups at the same time
- Highly detail-oriented individual
- Basic understanding of digital media planning, performance, and ad operations
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proactive thinker who looks for ways to improve efficiency and solve challenges
- Experience working in a startup environment is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree preferred

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus + Benefits
