Business Development for New Verticals

At Chooose, we're expanding our business into new verticals, and we're looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to lead this effort. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to bring Chooose to market in new verticals, identifying and qualifying new opportunities, and building a repeatable playbook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end strategies for bringing Chooose to market in new verticals
  • Identify and rigorously qualify new vertical opportunities
  • Originate business in new verticals and build a repeatable playbook
  • Continuously identify and validate customer needs in new verticals and deliver structured internal feedback to the Product team
  • Originate and sign new business through a technical advisory process that is genuinely helpful to the customer
  • Work with leaders from various functions within the customer to lead complex, multi-thread partnership cycles
  • Support a named account list and develop long-term, multi-product account plans for establishing and expanding business within enterprise accounts
  • Proactively identify, lead, and contribute to team projects to refine our Business Development processes with an emphasis on maintaining a culture of continuous learning

Requirements:

  • 5+ years demonstrated success in technical business development or management consulting
  • Ambitious and driven individual with a passion for climate change and software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with Spanish a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Flexibility with work hours to support colleagues and accommodate global customers
