The Business Services Recruiter role within the Office of Workforce Development at GeorgiaGov is currently open for applications from qualified candidates who meet the following criteria:

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitates employer requirements by linking job seekers with job opportunities utilizing OWD resources.
  • Partners with Career Center personnel for initiatives that support employer demands.
  • Establishes connections with the business sector and various stakeholders.
  • Aids in performance tracking and documentation of activities.
  • Creates and executes marketing strategies for assigned regions.
  • Requires flexible hours and significant travel within the designated area.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree accompanied by two years of relevant experience.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as public relations, business, marketing, or government/public service.
  • Familiarity with the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA).
  • Experience in delivering presentations and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
Technical Skills
  • Effective time and task management, basic computer proficiency, and project management capabilities.
  • Strong organizational, oral and written communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
