Job Summary:

The Regional Energy Manager is responsible for securing and maintaining competitive arrangements for the supply of electricity, natural gas, industrial gases, and similar supply/services necessary to meet the energy requirements of Gerdau.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze energy market trends and develop effective procurement strategies to meet the energy needs of Gerdau facilities.
Develop and maintain relationships with energy suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service.
Collaborate with plant management to ensure efficient use of energy resources and minimize costs.
Represent Gerdau's interests in regulatory and legislative arenas to advocate for improved energy policies for manufacturers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, engineering, or environmental science.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy procurement or a related field.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.

Working Conditions:

The Regional Energy Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to Gerdau facilities and meetings with suppliers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a remote environment and have strong time management skills to meet deadlines and priorities.
