Descripción del TrabajoResumen del Trabajo El Coordinador de Proyectos Senior en Matrix PDM Engineering, Inc. es responsable de proporcionar dirección general y gestionar múltiples proyectos de diversos niveles de riesgo, alcance y complejidad, que generalmente involucran múltiples disciplinas. Trabaja de manera independiente, bajo políticas y dirección general de gestión. Además, proporciona orientación a gerentes de proyectos de menor nivel sobre políticas y procedimientos, cuando sea aplicable.

  • Apoyar activamente el compromiso de la empresa con la seguridad y sus "Valores Fundamentales".
  • Representar a la empresa en todo momento con altos estándares morales, cumpliendo con el "Código de Conducta y Ética Empresarial".
  • Iniciar y mantener la comunicación con el cliente para facilitar actividades de ingeniería y construcción, evaluando el alcance del trabajo y los recursos necesarios para completar el proyecto con éxito.
  • Representar a la empresa en reuniones de licitación, reuniones de proyectos, reuniones estratégicas, etc., según sea necesario.
  • Establecer objetivos, políticas, procedimientos y estándares de rendimiento del proyecto dentro de los límites de la política corporativa.
  • Planificar, organizar y asignar personal a posiciones clave a través de jefes de departamento operativos o gerentes de proyectos/construcción subordinados.
  • Supervisar y/o monitorear mediante dirección administrativa de ingeniería y supervisión en el campo para garantizar que el proyecto se entregue de acuerdo con el diseño, presupuesto y cronograma.
  • Proporcionar asistencia técnica y recomendar métodos y equipos de construcción según sea necesario.
  • Ser responsable de la rentabilidad de los proyectos gestionados, protegiendo los intereses de la empresa mientras se mantiene una buena relación con el cliente.
  • Desarrollar nuevas oportunidades comerciales en relación con un Cliente específico o grupos de Clientes.
  • Realizar otras tareas según se requiera o se indique.
Calificaciones
  • Más de 10 años de experiencia laboral relacionada, preferiblemente en gestión de proyectos y P&L; incluye más de 6 años de experiencia supervisora.
  • Título universitario en Ingeniería Mecánica, Civil o Industrial, o Gestión de Construcción; o combinación de educación equivalente y 12 años de experiencia laboral si no se posee un título.
  • Certificación en Gestión de Proyectos de PMI preferida.
  • Entrenamiento API 653 en Tanques (solo almacenamiento).
  • Amplio conocimiento de prácticas, procesos y estándares corporativos e industriales y su impacto en las actividades del proyecto.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación oral, escrita e interpersonal; fuertes habilidades de negociación.
  • Conocimiento avanzado en construcción, diseño, finanzas y gestión de proyectos.
  • Excelentes habilidades informáticas, incluyendo Microsoft Word, Excel y software de programación de proyectos (MS Project o Primavera).
  • Capacidad avanzada para aplicar técnicas de gestión innovadoras y efectivas para maximizar el rendimiento.
  • Historial comprobado de entrega de proyectos a tiempo, dentro del presupuesto y de manera segura.
  • Capacidad para gestionar cargas de trabajo pesadas ocasionales con plazos sensibles, priorizando y gestionando múltiples proyectos simultáneamente.
  • Demostrada fiabilidad y automotivación para trabajar en proyectos; tomar la iniciativa para resolver problemas.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en múltiples proyectos a la vez, preparar propuestas complejas y estimar todo tipo y tamaño de proyectos.
  • Conocimiento sólido y comprensión de estados financieros e informes.
