Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Project Coordinator to join our team. This role is based in our Pittsburgh, PA office and is essential for providing comprehensive technical oversight for EPC or Design-Build projects with demanding timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative engineering solutions that align with our clients' technological needs while ensuring cost-effective and buildable designs.
- Ensure the safe execution of projects and provide secure solutions for energized systems.
- Lead the overall direction, coordination, and assessment of engineering activities in collaboration with Project Management and Field Management teams.
- Establish project goals and performance metrics as per company policies and project handover protocols.
- Assist in project proposals and estimating processes, identifying critical equipment and technical specifications to meet client needs.
- Engage with clients through meetings, site visits, and vendor interactions to determine optimal solutions for new projects.
- Define engineering requirements and select appropriate engineering firms based on qualifications, experience, and project understanding.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all project plans, contracts, and specifications to protect the company's interests and ensure compliance.
- Participate in developing project schedules, budgets, and reports, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Collaborate with engineers and vendors to support procurement processes, focusing on cost-effective solutions and schedule adherence.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, owners, engineers, and suppliers to minimize conflicts and enhance project outcomes.
- Contribute to the company's strategic planning initiatives and fulfill assigned responsibilities to ensure success.
- Engage in self-improvement and leadership development programs to enhance personal effectiveness and outcomes.

Required Skills:
- Exceptional written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, respond promptly to requests, and function as a collaborative team member.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications:
- A four-year degree in electrical engineering or construction management is preferred, with 5-8 years of relevant experience considered.
- Familiarity with single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical documentation.
- Knowledge of various engineering studies, including lightning, grounding, insulation coordination, and short circuit analysis.
- Experience with multi-discipline project coordination across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical domains is advantageous.
- Background in energy projects, including utility and power design across various voltage levels, is a strong plus.
