Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Specialist to join our team at La Causa, Inc. as an Employment Case Manager - CORE/CCS-Youth. This role will provide educational and employment support to individuals enrolled in the Early Intervention Program using the Individualized Placement and Support model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage clients and establish relationships to achieve competitive employment in integrated community settings.
  • Assist individuals in identifying their strengths, culture, and skills as they relate to employment.
  • Develop and foster relationships with employers on behalf of the consumer.
  • Monitor and negotiate work placements and recruit potential employers for enrollees.
  • Attend meetings and professional development activities as required.
  • Establish and maintain good communication with all stakeholders, including parents, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Follow all duties of a mandated reporter and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Services, Mental Health, or Business.
  • Two years of experience providing mental health services.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must pass all background checks.
Working Conditions

Work is generally performed in field and office environments. Local travel required; some state-wide travel may be needed.
